It certainly wouldn&#039;&#039;t hurt to try. You could wrap the seeds in a moist paper towel and put them in a jar or plastic bag for a few days to see if they germinate. Chlorine shouldn&#039;&#039;t have a major effect, but high heat probably would.

I&#039;&#039;ve never seen raw loofah, where do you buy them? Are they already peeled?
